Diets Don'tWork... |
| |
You’ve
tried everything you know
to lose weight.
But there’s
still something missing. |
As Australians, we spend millions of dollars
on weight loss programs; however, these cannot
work unless we acknowledge the underlying causes
of the weight gain.
For many a prescription to
eat less and exercise more is too simplistic. If
this was the simple solution then we need to ask
ourselves why are so many people are overweight.
|
 |
|
| |
| Generic diets just don’t work: |
|
They ignore an individual’s
hormones and thus the source of underlying weight
gain contributors. Sadly therefore standard low
carb, low GI or other such ‘blinkered’ diets
can fuel hormonally driven health concerns, thereby
actually increasing your weight and worsening other
imbalance symptoms e.g. cravings, lethargy, anxiety
etc. |
|
Generic diets also don’t necessarily provide
the nutritional content required to optimise your
health living. Thus you feel exhausted and have
a lowered auto immune system. |
|
Because of their nature are strict generic diets
are hardly followed long-term. They force lifestyle
changes they can’t be accommodated in the
real word e.g. they’re not family friendly
and they forbid all the ‘treats’ and ‘pleasures’ that
we enjoy.
|
| |
|
|
‘You are what you eat’ - MassAttack disputes
this old adage. We feel that as hormones are critically
involved it would be more appropriate to flip this
on it’s head and say ‘Eat the foods that
you are’. |
Because of ignorance overweight people, with hormonal
conditions, are sometimes viewed as poor eaters, this
may not be the case! Health conditions should be treated
with compassion, understanding and most importantly
an effective and tested weight loss formulae developed
specifically for the individual. |

| The ‘Right’ foods equal Results! |

Struggling with
an ovarian disorder Mandy of Geelong had been
on a ‘diet roller coaster’ for 20
years and was frustrated by her GP’s lack
of answers. I thought I knew everything there
was to know about diet because I’d done
every diet imaginable”, Mandy says. "But
no matter how much I exercised or cut calories,
I was still overweight," she says. Soon
after going on the MassAttack program and eating
the foods that were specifically right for her
hormonal profile, Mandy began to see and feel
real results for the first time.
“Fresh Energy to keep up with the kids,
better sleep, feeling healthy, & losing weight
in places I have never been able to budge. I’m
a new woman!” From size 24 to 12 & still
winning.

Narelle Stegehuis founder
of MassAttack |
My personal experience. The
birth of my daughter Anna triggered a sub-clinical
hormonal imbalance, which meant maintaining a healthy
body weight was never an easy task for me. I only
needed to look at food and I would put weight on.
Like many women, I had practiced the rules on healthy
eating from a young age. I also exercised 30 minutes
a day … rain hail or snow, but the weight
would not budge.
I knew the basic formula of eat
less, exercise more was not working and clinical
experience was proving to me it was indeed wrong.
I developed Mass Attack as the result of a devotion
to getting the weight-loss formula right and a passion
for fresh flavoursome food. Over the past five years
my team has researched over 500 foods and how they
effect hormones.
As featured in “New Idea” MassAttack
is the culmination of six years program development,
benefiting from over 20,000 specialised research
hours and in-clinic trials. The program is based
on sound and tested naturopathic principles; incorporating
the most current research on detoxification and metabolic
stimulation, combined with traditional medically
credible research. |
